‘‘For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.’’ Isaiah 41:13
A blind girl in her testimony was abandoned in an orphanage. As she grew up, she realized that her parents abandoned her because she was blind. Fast forward, she decided to go into Gospel music. When she told her caretakers, they discouraged her. In anger, the head of the orphanage said what if she does all she could and tomorrow the world disappoints her because of her condition? The girl replied: “ I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow”.
Friends, this girl’s phrase is an absolute dependence on God's immense power and ability to transform any ugly situation into a better one without seeking any man’s opinion. Who holds your tomorrow determines the outcome of it. Scriptures emphasize that God holds your future. While you may not know what tomorrow holds, you can trust in God's sovereignty and His plan for your life. Instead of worrying, the Bible encourages you to trust in God, pray, and seek His guidance for your future.
In Jeremiah 29:11, Scripture says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." In essence, the passage promises that God has plans for peace and prosperity, not adversity, with a hopeful future for those who trust Him. That is why He revealed those plans through His only begotten son in John 3:16, Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:24 etc.
In a world where we’re getting closer to the closure day by day , I plead with every reader of this message to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and absolutely depend on His sovereignty for a better tomorrow. The tomorrow will be your future on earth and the one when you pass unto eternity. I know sorrows and trials will come during your waiting, but I admonish you to depend on God and wait for His final whistle. I pray God’s final whistle be at your vantage in Jesus Mighty Name.
Let me leave you with the lyrics of a popular song, titled; He holds the Key to my life
‘‘He holds, the key to my Life. (X2). When sickness, and sorrows seem to take my soul away. He holds, the key to my life.’’
