A servant of God was faithfully serving the Lord while he and his wife struggled with the challenge of childlessness. Year after year, their desire to have a child remained unfulfilled. Every month, when his wife experienced her menstrual cycle, it marked the beginning of another season of tears, sorrow, and questions:

"Lord, when will this end? When will we finally have a child of our own?"

As often happens in such situations, people began offering advice to the pastor's wife. At first, she resisted those suggestions, but over time, she became convinced that one of them might provide the solution they desperately sought.

She repeatedly urged her husband to agree, but he stood firm. He reminded her that the God he served is faithful and that He would answer their prayers at the right time. No matter how much he resisted, she continued searching for new ways to persuade him. Her constant weeping and accusations that he was part of the problem gradually wore him down.

Finally, simply to find some relief from the pressure, the pastor agreed to accompany her to a place she had been told could provide a solution through spiritual means. They arrived there at night. Upon their arrival, the native doctor asked the pastor's wife to enter first. Afterward, he told the pastor that everyone accompanying him must leave before he could come inside.

The pastor replied, " Nobody is following me. My wife and I are the only ones here."

The native doctor insisted: "You are not alone. There are many people standing behind you."

A brief argument followed, but eventually the pastor said: "Whoever is following me, please go back and allow me to enter alone."

Because the instruction came from the servant of God himself, the angels that had been accompanying him withdrew, and he entered alone.

Moments later, for reasons no one could fully understand, the native doctor took some powder and blew it into the pastor's face. Instantly, the man of God lost his sight.

Beloved, under the pressure and persuasion of his wife, this servant of God entered a place he otherwise would never have gone. He went there seeking a solution to one problem, the fruit of the womb, but left carrying an additional burden: blindness.

This testimony reminds us that believers must be vigilant and steadfast. The enemy seeks every opportunity to lead God's children away from complete dependence on Him. When people who genuinely serve the Lord step into territory where God has not led them, they expose themselves to unnecessary battles. The enemy does not sleep, neither does he stop looking for opportunities to strike.

Therefore, whatever you are trusting God for, remain focused on Him. Do not allow pressure, fear, impatience, or the opinions of others to move you outside His will. Continue seeking Him in faith. If you do not give up, His answer will come at the appointed time.

May the Lord grant you the grace to keep trusting Him even when the wait is long. May He strengthen your faith, preserve your testimony, and bring His perfect intervention into every area of your life.

Do not lose heart. The God who made the promise remains faithful to fulfill it.
