God once spoke to Mr. Kenneth Hagen asking him to reach out to prostitutes and harlots. He said: “for the next one year, your assignment will be to minister to them”. But the issue Kenneth had about that assignment was this: how will he tell his wife that he was going to be focusing on that target for the next one year? He therefore kept that information to himself. However, one day he went to a fuel station to take fuel and met with a prostitute there. As he was ministering to her, she informed him that she knew 20 other people in her situation. They both then agreed that Kenneth would come to their place and minister to them that evening.

Upon reaching home and in prelude to that evening program, Kenneth H. started praying saying “Lord, as I go there today ministering to these people according to your instruction, please let your spirit manifest himself powerfully”. He was still praying when he heard God say: “My son, when going to this evening program, go with your wife!”

Mr. Kenneth H. was very embarrassed. He has been pondering over how to put his wife in the loop of this assignment and could not find the appropriate way to put it to her. With the divine instruction he just received, he could no longer delay informing his wife. But, how would he tell his wife this and would she understand? He could not figure out how she would react to that. However, out of sheer obedience to God’s word, he called his wife and shared God’s instruction with her. When Kenneth informed his wife of what God said, she simply replied: “you should have told me. So long as it is God’s instruction, let’s go.”

Unknown to the Kenneths, the lady Mr. Kenneth met at the fuel station had contacted the government and informed people that the Man of God was coming at her place that evening. So, they wired cameras all over her body and the plan was that as soon as the Man of God showed up, the lady would come out naked and grab him. People were positioned and instructed to take pictures. With such pictures, how would the Man of God tell the world that he was there to preach the gospel?

As the Kenneths were getting near to the door of the place where they were to meet the ladies, Mrs. Kenneth told her husband “Honey, please stop here and let me go and knock; you never know how our hosts are dressed!”.

As soon as she knocked at the door, the ladies thought it was Kenneth and one of them, with her naked body covered with cameras rushed out grabbing Kenneth’s wife. Then Mrs. Kenneth screamed to her husband saying: “Honey, go back! It is a trap; run!!!”

When the Man of God saw what was happening, he ran away, thus escaping from the devilish plan the prostitutes devised to tarnish his reputation.

Beloved, it was God that gave Mr. Kenneth the assignment. Yet, the devil capitalized on that. Thanks to spiritual promptness, the Man of God came out without the situation affecting his reputation.

Any situation you are in today which is causing you pain, if you analyze the circumstances around it happening, you will discover that there have been signs from God to alert you and prevent you from falling victim of it. When God speaks and warns you, obey him because He knows people and circumstances better than you can ever do.

Never take any major step under pressure. Wait to get clarity in the spirit. About that school you want to register into, that marriage you are planning to enter, that business you are considering embracing, what is God saying? Please note that the pressure of delay is much better than a failed marriage. Likewise, the pressure of joblessness is better than wasted capital. Make it a principle to be spiritually sensitive and you will escape situations that are intended to affect your peace and joy. May God help us.
