In front of one of our new branches in the East is an evil tree where 75% of the community gather to worship the idol in the tree. Standing at the MFM (Mountain Fire Ministry) church, one can easily see the tree. So, after service each day, the man of God there would say, “Please, pray this prayer f.o.c. (free of charge): “Every evil tree, growing for my sake, dry up! In Jesus’ name”.

One day, however, people noticed that smoke was coming out from the root of that evil tree. Quickly, they went to call the chief priest. He took buckets of water and started quenching the fire burning under the tree, but the more he poured water, the more the fire grew. Then, as if God was trying to show him that water was not the problem, rain now started to fall seriously, yet the fire kept burning.

The fire raged for about ten days and the tree was completely destroyed. The people got annoyed and went to the main oracle to ask it where it was when its younger brother was burning.

Then the oracle said that the people that burnt the tree were in the new church near it; so, the people needed to be careful. This is the kind of power God wants to exhibit.

Many of us are so fearful that we hardly remember the words of God which says, “… Is it not written in your law, I say unto you, ye are gods?”
