The text below is a testimony shared by a brother. Let us listen:

“About two weeks ago, I became seriously ill. I was suffering from fever, cough, body aches, and severe headaches, which were especially intense at night. Through prayer and songs of praise, the Lord eased my pain, allowing me to get some rest.

I had chosen not to resort to pharmaceutical medications, but instead to combine prayer with natural treatments. This conviction was further strengthened when the medical test results—particularly for dengue and malaria—came back negative.

On the very day my wife and I went to the medical center for these tests, we made a serious oversight: we forgot to turn off the gas supplying the stove. When we returned home about four hours later, the security guard informed us that he was unable to turn on the outdoor lights, even though there had been no power outage. I tried myself, but without success.

Once inside the house, the smell of gas had spread throughout all the rooms. Because I had a cold, I could not smell anything. However, my wife—who usually takes time to detect odors—suddenly stopped and said, ‘There is a strange smell… it smells like gas.’

I immediately rushed to the kitchen and discovered that the stove had been left on. I turned it off at once, and we opened all the windows. Strangely enough, the electrical system, which had not been working until then, started functioning normally about an hour later, without any human intervention.

After doing some research online, I realized how serious the danger we had narrowly escaped was. I am deeply convinced that an angel of the Lord intervened, disabling the electrical system in order to preserve our lives and our property.

Two days later, I began to recover. The body aches stopped, the headaches disappeared, the cough gradually faded and eventually vanished completely. My energy level returned to normal.
